Gifs is a where I started my business on the internet.
In 1996 I had a good paying job as an IT Dept manager.
Servicing a large oil & gas company and their
affiliates in Oklahoma and New Mexico. After a couple
months in the position things were running smoothly and
I started designing things on the side. And this
interest took hold and was starting to make more than my
day job. Plus it filled my artistic need and kept my
creative juices flowing.
Then
tragedy struck with the loss of my favorite nephew, and
I found myself too depressed to create. So I took a
break from graphics and animation. But technology was
still moving. It became easier for people to create
their own logos. Not in 3D or having metallic surfaces,
nonetheless fad/niche had faded. Not defeated I was
still planning and learning other computer related
fields. |
